Our History Rebuked, Revoked, and Rewritten!

We have entered an Age of Anarchy signaling the Latter Days. Riotous crowds are openly de­facing and destroying anything seemingly related to our Western Christian history and culture. The powerful and influential American "Democratic National Committee" posted a "tweet" suggesting that the beautiful Mount Rushmore memorial is a hateful symbol of White privilege, leaving the impression that it should be demolished. Not only monuments, but schools, streets and even cities are being renamed to remove their White historical connections.

The city of Columbus, Ohio, removed a prominent statue of Christopher Columbus, the city name­sake, and a drive is on to rename the municipality.

A tremendous amount of misinformation and lies are being spread in the liberal-left media inflaming diverse crowds of rioters who seem bent on destroying any signs of Anglo-Saxon heritage, while claiming a moral and historical right to do so. Yet a study reported in our newspaper said that only 18% of "Black Lives Matter" demonstrators are Black, showing that a growing number of young Caucasians have been falsely instilled with a sense of shame and embarrassment about their ethnic heritage, which at the very least is not a healthy mental attitude.

A widely shared typical comment by a young White man on Twitter social media stated, "Yes, I think the statues of the white European they claim as Jesus should also come down. They are a form of white supremacy. Always have been. In the Bible, when the family of Jesus wanted to hide, and blend in, guess where they went? EGYPT! Not Denmark. Tear them down."

The assumption is now commonly made that the peoples of ancient Israel and Egypt were uniformly black or dark-skinned. However, we find an interesting fact in A Handbook to the Egyptian Mummies and Coffins Exhibited in the British Museum, published in 1938. The book presents us with an early "pre-dynastic" mummy with light reddish-yellow hair similar to what may be found in northwest Europe today, listed as "No. 32751." The British Museum guidebook says,

"The body of a man originally buried in a shallow, oval grave on the west bank of the Nile, near Gabelein...is typical of burials in the pre-dynastic period, to which this body belongs, survivals of it are found as late as the Twelfth Dynasty...The man was fair-skinned and light-haired, it has therefore been suggested, as the dynastic Egyptians usually represented the Libyans as fair-skinned and blue-eyed, that he was of Libyan stock. His height was about six feet..."

Some historians believe that dynastic individuals such as this are related to the Hyksos "Shepherd Kings" who ruled early Egypt, and of which the Israelites in Goshen may very possibly have been a part.

This "Egyptian" mummy has been "known affectionately to the attendants who look after the Egyptian Department, and indeed to all of the museum authorities...as 'Old Ginger,'" as reported by the late British-Israel scholar, Norman Court, in an article titled Old Ginger published in the late 1930s. We think of the Libyans today as a dark-complexioned people, but the ancient inhabitants in the region of North Africa were "usually represented...as fair-skinned and blue-eyed," according to scholars in the British Museum.

It is becoming politically correct today to assert as well that the early Israelites were dark-skinned or black, but that is contradicted by the famous ancient "Dead Sea Scrolls." In column 20 of the scroll known as The Book of Abraham, Abraham's wife, Sarah, is described as having "soft flowing hair...her whiteness complexion." This in no way describes someone of Black African descent.

Professor Roland Dixon, late professor of Anthropology at Harvard University, wrote, "We are probably justified in believing, the people of Palestine and the adjacent country to have been, in the second and third millennium B.C., primarily of the Mediterranean and Caspian Nordic types" (Racial History of Man, p. 172).

In the Bible, King David is described: "Now he was ruddy [freshly or healthily red, fair, florid, blond," Oxford Dictionary] and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to..." (1 Samuel 16:12) Similarly, David is again described in 1 Samuel 17:42, "And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance." David had a fair or white complexion.

The prophet of the return from exile, Ezra, said, "O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to Thee, my God..." (Ezra 9:6). It is only those of Caucasian ethnicity that are fair complexioned and rosy, able to blush or show blood in the face.

The prophet Jeremiah complained of the Israelites saying, "Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? Nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush" (Jeremiah 6:15; 8:12).

The biblical book, Song of Solomon, says, "My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand" (5:10). Similarly, we read in biblical Lamentations, "Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire" (Lamentations 4:7).

Did the Israelites intermarry with other peoples? In the Dead Sea Scrolls "Temple Scroll" column 57 is a command to men that "he shall not take a wife from among all the daughters of the nations, but instead take a wife from his father's house from his father's family," which matches an even earlier biblical command in Numbers 36:6.

Dr. Frank Stevens, the late curator of the Salisbury and South Wilts Museum in England, stated,

"There is a recognized `Megalithic Route,' as it is called, marked by huge stone monuments of the nature of Stonehenge, which, starting in India, can be traced to Persia, Palestine, Arabia, Morocco, Algeria, Tunis, Portugal and Brittany, finally crossing the Channel to Devon and Cornwall" (Stonehenge Today and Yesterday, 1919, pp. 88-89).

Wherever Israel went they were to set up way marks (Jeremiah 31:21), and the Megalithic Route is Israel's route. None of this is known to our modern young people, and the great commission given to the House of Israel is increasingly neglected through agnostic ignorance. What a positive difference in faith, evangelism, and even mental well-being, would a knowledge of our Israel heritage and Divine commission be to our young people today!

Every nation should be allowed to exhibit pride in their heritage, and a love and appreciation of one's cultural forefathers is not hate. Yet our past is being deliberately and devilishly altered as if it was uniformly evil and corrupt, rebuking our ancestors, shaming and revoking their life accomplishments, and rewriting our history books.

We were warned that this time would come. "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it" (Jeremiah 30:7). Take courage in that promise. This is indeed a time of trouble, but we need to follow the Apostle's advice:

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the LORD, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand" (Ephesians 6:10-13).
