Mexico is Helping a Mass of Illegal Aliens Invade U.S. Border
Dozens of biblical prophecies promise blessings to Israel for obedience to YEHOVAH God’s laws, and warn of curses for disobedience. (This article was written by Dr. Keyes in March of 2018, now we have more invasions of illegal aliens heading for our southern border -- how should we respond? -- Editor.)
Writes Samuel P. Huntington:
The persistent inflow of Hispanic immigrants threatens to divide the United States into two peoples, two cultures, and two languages. Unlike past immigrant groups, Mexicans and other Latinos have not assimilated into mainstream U.S. culture, forming instead their own political and linguistic enclaves -- from Los Angeles to Miami -- and rejecting the Anglo-Protestant values that built the American dream. The United States ignores this challenge at its peril.
The single most immediate and most serious challenge to America’s traditional identity comes from the immense and continuing immigration from Latin America, especially from Mexico and beyond, and the fertility rates of these immigrants compared to black and white American natives. Americans like to boast of their past success in assimilating millions of immigrants into their society, culture, and politics. But Americans have tended to generalize about immigrants without distinguishing among them and have focused on the economic costs and benefits of immigration, ignoring its social and cultural consequences. As a result, they have overlooked the unique characteristics and problems posed by contemporary Hispanic immigration.
The extent and nature of this immigration differ fundamentally from those of previous immigration, and the assimilation successes of the past are unlikely to be duplicated with the contemporary flood of immigrants from Latin America. This reality poses a fundamental question: Will the United States remain a country with a single national language and a core Anglo-Protestant culture? By ignoring this question, Americans acquiesce to their eventual transformation into two peoples with two cultures (Anglo and Hispanic) and two languages (English and Spanish). So with Mexico openly helping an invading force, mainly from Honduras, to reach the United States, what is to be done?
We, in this country, in this generation, are -- by destiny rather than by choice -- the watchmen on the walls of world freedom. We ask, therefore, that we may be worthy of our power and responsibility, that we may exercise our strength with wisdom and restraint, and that we may achieve in our time and for all time the ancient vision of “peace on earth, good will toward men.” That must always be our goal, and the righteousness of our cause must always underlie our strength. For as was written long ago: “except the LORD keep the city, the watchmen waketh but in vain.” (John F. Kennedy, Remarks Prepared for Delivery at the Trade Mart in Dallas, TX, November 22, 1963)
Mexico appears to be supporting an effort to probe America’s response to an openly orchestrated deployment of the strategy of unarmed invasion. According to the report I read “A caravan of more than 1500 families including men, women, and children are making their way from Central America through Mexico and are expected to arrive at the US Mexico Border in the coming days to request refugee status. The caravan is organized by the so-called immigrant rights group Pueblo Sin Fronteras who have been posting updates about the caravan’s journey through Mexico.”
According to research done by Glenn Beck and his team, the paper trail from Pueblo Sin Fronteras leads back to a group called CARA Family Detention Pro Bono Project. CARA encompass two legal groups, the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. and the American Immigration Council. Guess who’s funding them? None other than radical leftist Jewish billionaire: George Soros.
For years I have decried elitist faction leaders, Democrat and Republican, who have been treacherously derelict in their unwillingness to meet the strategic threat posed by allowing people to demand entry into the United States as a matter of right, in defiance of our laws.
[O]ur present so-called representatives…in political leadership speak as if the ongoing invasion of the United States, by a force of humanity now numbering in the tens of millions, should be discussed as if it represents no strategic threat to America’s sovereignty and way of life.
At the very least, this bespeaks fatal incompetence. At worst, it gives evidence of studied hostility toward the national existence of the United States. This hostility has become all too commonplace among the educated elites that are now relentlessly maneuvering to become the focus of decisive power in the regime that is displacing America’s constitutional, democratic republic. [To wit, an] administrative tyranny intended to suppress the idea of responsible individual liberty and decentralized self-government that is the heart of the true American dream. (John F. Kennedy, Remarks Prepared for Delivery at the Trade Mart in Dallas, TX, November 22, 1963)
JFK was right when he called the American people “the watchmen on the walls of world freedom.” If we still understand, as he did, the human hopes entrusted to our care, we must not disappoint those hopes by failing to safeguard, first of all, the lawful ramparts that secure our liberty. But in countries throughout the world, self-serving elitists forces orchestrate the impoverishment of peoples, thereby frustrating their aspirations for self-government. Now some of those elitists are, for warlike purposes, cynically propagandizing the people they deprived of hopeful prospects in their home countries.
With but a small fraction of the billions amassed by doing so, they now cynically goad their victims to abandon the homes elitist forces have thus ruthlessly worked to degrade. To this end, they sow the fertile fallacy that the only escape from their plight is to batter down the rampart of America’s prosperity and force us to compromise and surrender our success as a prospering example of what comes of freedom, rightly employed.
We should not reproach the exploited victims of this deadly elitist strategy for being susceptible to this lie. But neither should we succumb to it. Instead, we must maintain with courage the discipline required to defend what we have achieved as a free people. We must stand fast in defense of the liberty God-endowed that makes us free. We must make clear to all that we adamantly reject the notion that the way to remedy the poverty of others is to impoverish ourselves. We must resoundingly defeat the strategy that aims to force desperate people into our midst, on terms that destroy our ability to defend the way of life that makes our nation the object of their aspirations.
It’s sad and may prove tragic, that the government of Mexico sees fit to make itself the tool of a strategy openly intended to attack the sovereignty of both our nations. Though the group being used to test this strategy consists of families from Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras, there are millions of people in Latin and South America who have reason to long for escape from similar conditions. Once it becomes clear that we can easily be maneuvered into a confrontation with unarmed, civilian invasion forces, what reason is there to believe our elitist adversaries do not mean to organize them into a continual assault.
Do we have the resolve to use force against such unarmed masses? If we find it, can it be deployed without degrading our character as a people, which is already under ruthless moral assault, into something unfit to be called “American"? In social terms this strategy is a Weapon of Mass Destruction, using critical masses of human beings, instead of nuclear materials. The aim is to devastate our moral heart, dissolve the moral premises of our national identity, and impose a post-traumatic winter of bad conscience calculated to freeze our will, and the self-assurance required to defend our union. In this respect, JFK speaks directly to us, and with unerring wisdom, when he reminds us that the righteousness of our cause is the indispensable foundation of our strength.
Our enemies perceive and seek to undermine that source of our strength. They have studied us as Machiavelli studied the Christian faith he sought to disarm and overthrow. But if we act with foresight, resolutely, we can forestall the fate they aim to impose on us. The first step is to make it clear to the government of Mexico, and all the governments it has chosen to represent, that we regard their sponsorship of this invading force as an overt act of war. We should demand that Mexico cease its participation. We should state unequivocally that if it does not do so, we will immediately embargo any and all commerce between the United States and Mexico until they assume responsibility for their actions.
Mexico’s sponsorship of this insidious species of attack against our sovereignty and the physical integrity of our nation must not be allowed to hide behind a mask of specious non-violence. But if the Mexican government is willing to act responsibly, we should respond in the spirit of peaceable friendship that has characterized our relations with the Mexican people for many decades. If they feel the caravan moving toward our border deserves to be heard, let them provide suitable quarters in which for them to pause their approach. The U.S. Government should them instruct our Ambassador to Mexico to meet jointly with people authorized to speak for the families involved, along with representatives of the Mexican government, and the governments of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, from which most of the families reportedly come.
The U.S. government should lay down unalterable conditions for this meeting -- That the participants in the caravan must remain in place outside our territory. And that they, and all the other governments involved, understand and accept the fact that the U.S. government reserves the means to enforce its sovereign authority to grant or withhold entry into the United States. We will not surrender or compromise it, in any respect.

The Monroe Doctrine
The Monroe Doctrine is officially dead. This was the famous promise that America would allow no European power to gain a foothold in North or South America. The previous Obama administration repeatedly repudiated it. As part of the same trend, Cuba -- long shut out by America due to its communism and flirtations with Russia was welcomed back into the community of nations.
This was a radical shift in American foreign policy. But more than that, it displayed a dangerous worldview held by America’s leaders. To understand why, it is important to understand why the Monroe Doctrine was established in the first place.
The policy was first established in 1823 by United States President James Monroe in response to the concerns that Spain and France were trying to reassert rule in independent parts of Latin America. “The American continents…are henceforth not to be considered as subjects for future colonization by any European powers,” Monroe said. In 1984, Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger brought the spirit of the doctrine up to date, saying “there should be no interference, no sponsorship of any kind of military activity in this hemisphere by countries in other hemispheres.”
Since shortly after the founding of the United States, it has been arguably the most important pillar of American foreign policy.
In 2013, Secretary of State John Kerry officially proclaimed, “The era of the Monroe Doctrine is over.” This statement to the Organization of American States was a historic proclamation -- but what he said next was perhaps more surprising: “That’s worth applauding,” he said. “That’s not a bad thing.”
More recently, U.S. President Barack Obama confirmed its death. Note the way he expressed it, in a meeting with civil society leaders from across Latin America in Panama on April 10, 2015: “The days in which our agenda in this hemisphere so often presumed that the United States could meddle with impunity, those days are past.” He too was applauded.
These men spoke as though the Monroe Doctrine was evil -- an excuse for an imperialist (and probably racist) America to “meddle” in the affairs of other nations just to get its own way. Is that the truth? What are the real fruits of the Monroe Doctrine?
For starters, without this doctrine, the U.S. as we know it would not exist today.
Europe has been engulfed in huge and destructive wars throughout America’s history. Yet these wars have not spread to mainland America. Why? It’s not for a lack of desire. It is because it is incredibly difficult to fight a war over 3,000 miles of ocean -- as the British discovered in the late 1770s.
But during that time, there have been repeated schemes to attack the U.S. And they all revolve around getting a foothold in the Americas.
The Obama administration talked as if the Monroe Doctrine was a waste of time or an act of imperialistic hubris. It hated the meager mechanisms America had in place to try to bring about a friendly regime in Cuba.
America’s leaders today behave as though major wars are a thing of the past. They presume that no one would ever seek to attack the U.S., and therefore, defending America by keeping potential enemies out of its neighborhood isn’t important.
That view rejects the facts of history. This is the real world. Nations are jealous of rich and powerful rivals; they look for weaknesses to bring them down. There are foreign powers that want to harm the United States. They will use Latin America to do so if they can.
The wishful thinking that sees the world full of happy friends goes far beyond America’s rulers. It is the attitude of America as a whole. How much press coverage have you seen on this matter? It isn’t just the leaders who are unconcerned -- the media don’t even consider it news because their readers probably wouldn’t care.
The United States is living in a make-believe world. The Monroe Doctrine was designed to protect the United States from foreign powers. It has been rejected because Washington apparently no longer believes there is anything to be protected from.
History is full of examples where people thought major-power wars were over -- that humanity had progressed into an age of relative peace. This thinking was prevalent before the Napoleonic wars. And World War I. And World War II.
Biblical prophecy warns that such fantasies will again prevail in the very end time (e.g. Amos 6:3-6; Luke 17:26-30).
Woe to those who put far off the day of doom, who cause the seat of violence to come near; who lie on beds of ivory, stretch out on your couches, eat lambs from the flock and calves from the midst of the stall; who chant to the sound of stringed instruments, and invent for yourselves musical instruments like David; who drink wine from bowls, and anoint yourselves with the best ointments, but are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph. (Amos 6:3-6)
And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. (Luke 17:26-30)
America’s geography -- protected from the world’s major powers by thousands of miles of ocean -- is a blessing from YEHOVAH God. In rejecting the Monroe Doctrine, America is largely negating that blessing.
Dozens of biblical prophecies promise blessings to Israel for obedience to YEHOVAH God’s laws, and warn of curses for disobedience. These apply most of all to the end-time descendants of the ancient nation of Israel, of whom the United States is chief.
Dozens of prophecies describe foreign attack and invasion on American soil! It is difficult for most Americans to imagine because of the extraordinary security the nation has enjoyed for generations, but this is coming!
Latin America is certain to be a staging ground for some of these attacks. The plans for such invasions that have been thwarted in the past will be carried out.
One specific prophecy to consider in this context can be found in Deuteronomy 28. Among the punishments upon modern-day America that this chapter lists for rebellion against YEHOVAH God, verse 52 warns that foreign nations “shall BESIEGE thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced [border] walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.”
These “gates” include the border wall or barrier and vital sea-lanes by which America trades with other nations and imports goods that its people rely on every day. This is a specific prophecy that these walls will come down and the sea-lanes will be cut off by foreign powers!
That scenario simply couldn’t happen without Latin America: It will entail an enemy or alliance of enemies closing the Panama Canal to American traffic and gaining military superiority and staging areas with the help of the nations south of our border.
The rest of the world sees a still-rich America becoming weaker and more inward-looking. The temptation and opportunity to undermine the nation has never been stronger.
If America were concerned about its future, it wouldn’t reject the Monroe Doctrine, but would rather increase its vigilance all the more. The consequences for this error are going to prove tragic.
(Enemies at the Back Door, by Richard Palmer.)
Profound cultural differences clearly separate the nations south of the border and Americans, and the high level of immigration from and through Mexico sustains and reinforces the prevalence of Latino values among Mexican Americans.
Continuation of this large immigration (without improved assimilation) could divide the United States into a country of two languages and two cultures. A few stable, prosperous democracies -- such as Canada and Belgium -- fit this pattern. The differences in culture within these countries, however, do not approximate those between the United States and Mexico, and even in these countries language differences persist. Not many Anglo-Canadians are equally fluent in English and French, and the Canadian government has had to impose penalties to get its top civil servants to achieve dual fluency. Much the same lack of dual competence is true of Walloons and Flemings in Belgium. The transformation of the United States into a country like these would not necessarily be the end of the world; it would, however, be the end of the America we have known for more than three centuries. Americans should not let that change happen unless they are convinced that this new nation would be a better one. A study of Scripture indicates that it would not!
